1. The pipes are the only thing protecting Scotland
from being attacked. The Arabs love bagpipes. Arab marching bands are all pipers. True fact. I saw it on the CBC.

I was researching the pipes a little while ago (Love my heritage, hate my neighbors!) and found out that a lot of the cheap, inferior practice pipes being sold nowadays are made in...Pakistan!

no, they aren't meant to play woodwind concertos. They're WAR instruments (at least the great pipes are), and they do their job well.
