9. Bacon crumbles on chocolate cupcakes
Swear to god - at a bakery up in Boulder. They sell out of 'em shortly after opening each day.

Someday, I'm gonna be there in time to get one or I'll just make my own damn choco/bacon cupcakes at home.

Mmmmm...bacon - it's the 5th food group!

16. I kid you not, I had a slice this morning
I was at a local coffee shop with my laptop and a latte. They sell them for $1 a slice so I figured why not and I tried it.

It was just a weird flavor combination because you had the true sweetness of the chocolate and the saltiness of the bacon.

15. Just had a meal that may top that...
If you like italian food. If you don't, well, I don't know what to say ;)

I signed up for a one credit culinary class at the U where I work, three saturdays all day, designed for culinary students and general public alike. Class is called Italian Regional Cuisine; and today we cooked from the northern reigon, where my Italian streak is from. We cooked from 10am-245pm and then sat down to eat. Menu:

Antipasto-Grilled Radicchio with Bagna Cauda
Zuppa-Minestrone with Basil Pesto
Primo-Polenta with Cheese and Olive Truffle Oil
Secondo-Luganega Sausage with Peppers and Onions
Insalata-Mushroom Salad with Red Wine Vinegarette
Dolci-Tiramisu with Marscapone Cheese

As part of all that, we hand made from scratch:

Marscapone Cheese
Classic Basil Pesto
Luganega Sausage

Oh. my, fucking. Gawd. I got home an hour ago, and I can still taste the flavors. Manna People... total foodgasm, and I came home with recipes, which means I shall begin experimenting in my kitchen. Next Sat is central Italy, and then the following week is Southern. Mmmmmm......

17. When you want another dining orgasm - try this:
Sweet potato, coconut milk and shrimp soup. And that is cilantro and slivered almonds on top. The red curry paste makes it truly orgasmic.

Once your bacon is out of your system, try my soup recipe:
