Let's make a DU Lounge pantheon of gods.

The Lounge is is in need of deities to explain all of our behavior. A pantheon of gods and goddesses responsible for the sparks that lead to our flame wars and life to our threads that never die. So, lets give names to the immortals that rule The Lounge.

Branniwin - Goddess of flame wars that spring up from celebrity deaths. She is a strict and unforgiving goddess that remembers all the sins of any celebrity and holds them to an unattainable standard of purity.

Oliv'flake - The god of flame wars that start from seemingly unflameworthy topics. An arrogant god that finds the behavior of mortal DUer enraging. Although he holds others in contempt for their choices, he is easily offended when others do the same to him.

Musibeer - The god of cultural snobbery. Brother of Oliv'flake, he spends his days throwing around snobby remarks about the preferences of Duers finding them unfit for consumption or patronage.

Sci'zomb - The god of esoteric science fiction and zombie threads. Although he is potentially powerful, he spends the majority of his immortality sitting in dark rooms watching Star Trek and horror movie. He inspires the like minded to post threads longing for in-depth discussion about ways to kill movie monsters or space age technology that usually sink like a stone.

This may sound trivial, but think a Lounge-shattering holy war could arise from this small point of theology...
