Something unusual happened to me this morning.

I was cold waiting for the bus to go to work and I
wondered if I had any long sleeve shirts.

It must have been below 70 F.

I can't remember when it has been that cold.

I have a vague memory of a sweater or a jacket somewhere in my closet,
but I can't recall when I needed one.

Hold me, I'm shivering.

:scared:

11. Here's a list of all the rivers, bayous and basins in Texas:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_rivers_of_Texas

We have a fair number of very large rivers, like the Brazos, Colorado, Guadalupe and Rio Grande. The Colorado and Guadalupe run through the middle of Texas, and as they've been in a several-year drought, they aren't flowing much there. But as you get closer to the coast, you find more water.

The shortest river in the US is in New Braunfels, Texas, and that's the Comal River. It's all spring-fed, too (when the droughts aren't going on) :)

7. I wanted to go back inside, open the electric oven and toast myself.
I was reminded of my childhood winters:
