How are you doing in your NCAA brackets so far?

I'm 5 for 6. :) I'm guessing that not many people picked Manhattan. At least I didn't pick Florida to win round two.

2. 5 for 7

I had Manhattan over Florida, but Southern Illinois and BYU let me down. Both were very close games, though, so you take what you can get. It'll be 6 for 8 once Stanford trounces the token 16 seed, I guess.

Some years I pick the upsets right on and some years it doesn't go so well. We'll see how this year turns out.

The 5-12 game is always a good match for an upset, though. I think it might have been two or three years ago that all four 12 seeds won in the first round.

but none of my losses are meaningful, since they were all losing in round 2 anyway. So not too bad.

I had Charlotte beating Texas Tech. And I had Charlotte winning against St. Joe's, too, so it was a big loss.

I did, however, have Manhattan beating Florida.

14. I hate Florida.

I mean, being from Tennessee I have, naturally, hated Florida for a very long time, but this, this is just pathetic. I know that Manhatten over Florida was the popular 12 over 5 pick, but who wants to go along with the crowd, and besides Florida is in the friggin' SEC and it is a respected team. But no those (*^&^$* Gators had to go and their asses kicked by some little-known college from some po-dunk conference. Oh! I hates them!!

I seen both teams play this year and I thought to myself that Manhattan would have to have an off night for Florida to win. I didn't see an off night coming and picking Manhattan was one of the easy picks to make. They may be little-known and from a po-dunk conference but they are very talented. I think they are definately in the top 3 when it comes to being the best mid major team. But sorry about how your bracket turned out today, but you could get the rest of your picks right unless the two teams you had going to the championship are now eliminated.
