I always admired that Josie's the raw flame, the live wire
but when she prays like a Roman with her eyes on fire, I just think she goes too far.

(And the under 45s go, "Huh?")

8. I'm not sure that "we're gonna park in the street" conveys the note of rebellion
that they were shooting for, but I guess they mean in the middle of the street.

9. You reminded me of a funny story
When my daughter was a baby, "Aja" with Deacon Blues on it was very popular around our house. We played it a LOT. She was just learning to talk. I'm wheeling her around the mall one day when she belts out at the top of her lungs "drink scotch whiskey all night long, and die behind the wheel!"

No way you can explain that to the straights.

The record label printed the lyrics on the sleeve, so I've always known exactly what the words Donald was singing were. What any of them might mean is more the problem.
