Strange question for GLBT Duers: Let's just say you're on the town
So you go to a bar, and find someone who you think is hot, funny and in the mood. The two of you go home, and after some heavy petting, you find out that the person is not the sex they appeared to be.

Would this disappoint you?

3. Ahhhhh I should specify then
I can see, being bi it would be a bit like opening a box you thought had an iPod in it but it turns out to instead be keys to a car...or sumthin like that

2. See, this should be in GD. Remove the GLBT part though.
Let everyone have their say.

That flamewar would be epic.

Though, on second thought, it would be a feeding frenzy for homophobes I think.

4. I had this hapen to me once
I brought home someone I thought was a woman - turns out she wasn't. I was dissapointed, but I didn't feel threatened. I didn't continue of course...

It was strange though because our society gives you no clues on how to act when that happens.

I figured no one would be angry if I told her I'm sorry, you're not what I expected, please let people know this little detail later, here's money for a cab (I'm not THAT much of a dick!)

6. It situations like that, I concentrate all firepower on the super star destroyer.
It might not be the sexiest movie, but I'll last longer than I would against that Death Star.

10. You should take the B out.
One of the advantages of being Bi is that we can have fun with anybody. Disappointed? Heck no, I love surprises :)

11. Token hetero answer, if nobody minds: This question makes me feel a little old-fashioned.
I mean, I am a world class perv (I'll spare y'all the details, but trust me on this one,) but there's zero chance I'm going to find out what's in somebody's drawers a couple of hours after meeting them. Not so much because I have issues with that sort of behavior from a sexual ethics standpoint, or because I think fucking for fun makes one slutty and ebil or anything like that, but just because going off alone with a near-stranger after a few drinks sounds scary as hell to me. Not because of ZOMG secret vag! or anything like that, the more usual violence, robbery and rape come to mind as serious and dangerous possibilities.

I think one has to have a different perspective on these things when one is small and female, and thus more vulnerable than the average to that sort of thing.
