1. Keep your chin up.
Hopefully it will work for the best. I it's cliche but sometimes cliches are the right thing to say. It's better for children to have parents that are separate and happy then unhappy together.

:pals:

And you have beautiful kids! They look like they've been raised well!

2. That's a great picture.

They look like sweet kids. Having a compassionate mom like you should serve them well. As far as things working out, last I heard 50% of all marriages end in divorce. I've been divorced myself. It was my starter marriage. :P

Nothing really lasts forever but we can still enjoy and appreciate good times while we have them. I think time spent happy is never time wasted. :hi:

3. There were definitely happy times.
Sometimes I wish I'd left earlier and I could call it a starter marriage. Instead it lasted close to twenty years and I am forver shaped by that time for better or for worse.

I wish you good times in the present! I wish the same for us all, AllenVanAllen.

4. There's still much happiness to be had

for all of us I think. I truly believe nothing that has happened in our past that can keep us from being happy (or at the least peaceful) in this moment. I'm sorry for what you went through. I hope you can find as much happiness as you can handle crim son. You deserve it!

5. My first lasted almost 10 years
Like you said, for better or worse it has made me who I am today. Your kids are adorable. I have learned from my sig line. It doesn't matter why or how..but smile because it happened :)

7. Be happy -remember only the good stuff.
My first marriage had NO good stuff, and I try to blank most of it out.
My second attempt is working much better.
Stay in the present, in your own life.

8. My dear crim son!
Ah, sweetie...

What a grand picture...

Your children are gorgeous, and frankly, so is your ex...

I'm so sorry that it didn't work out the way you'd hoped...

But as other folks here have said: Remember the good times, put away the bad, and live in the present...

You deserve to be happy in your life, and I firmly believe that you will get there!

:loveya:

12. That is true. The divorce wasn't a mistake;
the kids are closer to their father as a result, and he is a much better father than he ever was.

13. Your kids are beautiful, just like their Mom. ;-) And I know from what you've posted about them,
that their beauty goes all the way to the bone. You have a right to be proud. And everybody is right about one thing: remember the good times...

:hi:  :loveya:

14. Good looking bunch, all.

I really don't know the story about you and your ex, but you certainly made some beautiful children, and maybe--just maybe--someday you'll be able to come to some peace about the ex. He was in your life for some very good reason (even if it was just to give you those great kids!)
