Which song will make your head explode if you hear it again?
This one is it for me. I have a co-worker who plays a radio station that plays this song once every other half hour. The station plays about 8 songs, only one of which I can really tolerate.

Share songs that when mixed with your brain become a highly volatile solution.

5. Auto-tune.
I liked when Cher used it. It should have been used in moderation. Now it is an aberration.

14. I wholeheartedly agree!
There's this little Middle Eastern cafe I frequent that has their sound system on XM/Sirius "Spectrum" and it's really nothing more than "adult contemporary" day after day after day. I hear the same songs over and over, though Kokomo doesn't play as often, it does get played. I'm so thankful for my little media player so I can plug in, tune out and write :)

Oh, I was trying to think of other songs y'all might be suppremely annoyed with and had to look up "MacArthur Park". Even after listening to half of both the Donna Summer version and part of the Richard Harris version, I can't say I've ever heard the song before. I tell people when the song gets mentioned that I've never heard it before, and they usually don't believe me. What can I say? I listened to public radio growing up and they had more taste in music :P

12. I'm happy to say I've never heard that song
Maybe because I don't listen to any mainstream pop stations.

I could go without ever hearing "Jack and Diane" again. I like Mellencamp, but it has hit the overplayed list.

19. Not me, but...
...a good friend of mine, years ago, was subjected repeatedly to "Rock Me Amadeus" by his kids. (I take no responsibility, incidentally, for introducing them to that song!) He finally told them that if he ever heard that song in his house again, their tape player was going in the garbage. (Yes, it was that long ago ... kids still played music on cassettes. :) )
