Please speak in codes so the topic does not get locked.
Basically, a guy gets used to doing something that is a substitute for the real thing. Then, on the somewhat rare occasions where he does encounter the TRUE EVENT, he seems more attached to the substitute though not entirely displeased with the REAL THING.
