I got a FB friend-request rejection today. It reminds me of when I was in school (long before the Inter-nets) and certain kids would get chummy with all the other kids and completely ignore me like I was The Plague. My mom always used to say that I must have done something really wrong to deserve that kind of treatment. That kind of rejection still hurts today.

i reject people all the time: people i dont know, people who ONLY talk about DU

drama, people i wouldnt want to ever get coffee with etc

I understand NOT wanting to friend someone, it is just that I have never gone to the trouble to Reject someone.

I was a social reject as a young person and I know the hurt. In this case however, whoever rejected you is probably somebody you don't want as a friend now, if you ever did. Fuck 'em.

I wish folks from here and from other websites that I frequent would use the "send a message" w/ their friend requests that tells me what their monikers are and from where I know them.
