Y'know - Bowie's "Tin Machine II" isn't that bad
It's probably his worst selling album.

One that had everything going against it: bad reviews, coming out on the waning end of the Bowie's 80's comeback and a dumb idea for a cover. IN fact, the cover was chosen because it might cause controversy. And it did - America had to airbrush out the penis of a historical statue because penises are bad, dontchya know?

But its not half bad!

He covers Roxy Music, and starts exploring that fusion of heavy rock and techno.

3. I liked both of the Tin Machine albums
Bowie's best work since the mid-70's, in my opinion. The "Let's Dance" album would have been another piece of boring 80's synth pop fluff without Stevie Ray, and the two albums that followed that were snoozefests. Tin Machine was the rebirth of Bowie the rocker. Too bad it only lasted for two albums. Hell, they were even good when he let Soupy's kid sing a few songs.
