Upgrading "BO"

It's confusing sometimes.

Way back in my growing-up years BO was something that only skanky, unwashed people had.

When I visited New York just out of high school I learned that there was such a thing as "good BO" and all the actors and actresses wanted it.

Then along comes Faux Gnus and Mr. "fuckit, we'll do it live!" BO. Back to skanky.

Now those poor abused letters have been refurbished, cleaned up, polished to gleaming brilliance by Barack Obama.

Alas, habits of a lifetime are hard to break. And I confess that whenever I encounter the letters "BO" my continuing pavlovian response is to either hold my nose or plug my ears.

So, to avoid any confusion in any of my correspondence, I prefer to use the unambiguous "Barack Obama, President of the United States".



And damn, it still feels good!
