Been to the Czech Republic 4 times--never make it to Slovakia, though. I hear it's dirt cheap, and relatively tourist-free, and the capital has a nice Old Town section. Ever been?

8. I was wrong--I have been to Slovakia--through it, actually, on a train

on my way to Budapest. The Slovakian passport control guy went through ALL my luggage!

...but really it was only nominally. I think both did so mainly because it was either us or the Ruskies on the other side, and they still have very non-fond memories of those times.

As for how was the CR? Love Prague--I've decided I'm going to move there someday.

...anything other than a "Yeah, yeah, do what you want" from the PM there would have been very unpopular--th Czech people were against the war.
