"The Verdict." Imagine what CG could do for Paul Newman's final jury speech. Not to mention, he could take the necessary time to slow the film down and explore all the possible nuances of each prolonged glance between characters. The phone at the end could ring 48 times, fade to black, then return with a slow motion Felini-esque dream sequence of the phone ringing another 62 times with a Doppler affect as Paul Newman dangles upside down over the courtroom floor in the talons of an eagle.
"The Passion of the Christ." Imagine Jesus hanging upside down from the cross in slow motion as a sea of scarlet capes wave beneath him. Fade to black after 32 minutes, then fade back in for another 63 minutes so we can ponder the Triumph of Jesus over the upside down capes. The movie could also include the resurrection, with a 45 story CG stone that can be rolled away, in slow mo, causing earthquakes, tidal waves, and orcs falling from impossibly high cliffs.
"Hamlet." I mean really, wouldn't it be better if he married Desdemona in the end after she gives up her immortality for him? Women willing to sacrifice immortality for a short life with their man are much better than women who fight valiantly for their country or who drown in a moat. Why Desdemona? She was just too hot to die, and fans wanted to see her with Hamlet, or would have if she had lived in Denmark.
