I just had a static emergency in my truck.

I picked up a hitch hiker, and he started rubbing his shoes on the truck carpet. So I told him to stop doing that, and pointed to the big sign I had on my dashboard "ONLY YOU CAN PREVENT STATIC FIRES".

He didn't stop, and the next thing I know, his shoes and socks were on fire, so I had to pour my 48 ounce diet coca cola on his shoes to put him out.

Next time I pick up a passenger, I am going to make him sit with his feet in a bucket of coca cola.
