I finally watched the Beatles Anthology in 5.1 surround sound

I dunno, maybe it's because I saw McCartney for the third time ever last Wednesday night...so I had to break out my Anthology dvds. I have owned a home entertainment center now for almost a year, and I haven't found the time to watch the Anthology on my new system. So, I watched today, and I was blown away by the MUSIC. The sound was definitely different from my stereo cds that were essentially "remastered" when the Beatles library started coming out in the late 1980's.

If the new releases on 9/9 produce the kind of sound I heard tonight, then I will be blown away. I was skeptical about investing my money once again to replace product, but what I heard tonight really changed my mind. I'm hoping Apple comes out with a comparable sound. If they do, then this obsessive Beatles fan will be more than happy.
