Mamma Mia!

I can't hold it back any longer...I've wanted to post this for quite a while.

Is anyone else obsessed with this play/movie/soundtrack? I'm amazed. I've never been into theater, etc., but now feel like a whole new world of expression (based on the absurd) has opened up to me.

Do I have no taste? Is it good? Why do I like it so much? And...is it just me?

1. It is so very tacky, and so very bad, that it's really entertaining.

I really enjoy the movie, partly because I like ABBA's music, but partly because the movie really entertaining for exactly what it is, a really badly made film. It's easy to sit back and laugh and sing throughout the whole movie.

One of the reasons I like it so much is because of all the ABBA music.

the setting is so gorgeous and it's great campy fun with a bit of Shakespearean-type confusion thrown in. I never really cared about Abba's music before, but they managed to fit it into the plot pretty well.
