Gloucester & Rockport MA this morning. DIAL UP WARNING!!!
Edited on Sun Aug-23-09 01:17 PM by graywarrior
Went with SIL who showed us every damn park her dog took a crap in when we all lived there (like we didn't know that already!!!!)

Most of these shots were drive by's except for the first 7 or so which SIL was kind enough to stop her car and let me the fuck out of the dog telling stories prison on wheels and snap some shots. We were hoping for some wild waves due to Hurricane Bill, but there was really nothing to get excited about. Still, I miss living there because it's so beautiful.

GLOUCESTER

ROCKPORT

1. Nice pics! My wife and I were just down in that area last month.
Beautiful place. My wife made us drive to every lighthouse in the area so she could get pictures however...

We were there last month, and it really was beautiful. I could have used a full day to lounge around at Halibut SP...

10. I don't see any moonies in your pics!
....but I can almost smell the ocean air. Lovely. Thanks.

Oh, and did you take a pic of the famous statue at Gloucester?

I miss that area. I hear there is a wonderful museum in Gloucester, and I didn't ever see it.

18. Gloucester consists of three families.
They've been incestuous for centuries.

14. Been to Rockport many times in the wee hours for sunrise shots, here's one.
That spot is called Bearskin Neck. I usually stand near those lobster traps on the right in your first Rockport pic and
shoot straight ahead to the open sea where the sun rises between those 2 jetties.

But you can only get shots like that around early/mid July, otherwise the sun will be up way off to the right. I probably took this around 5:10am.

24. It was fun.
She's crazy, but all I have to do is say the work cocksucker and she practically dies laughing....mainly because she uses that word on people when she's pissed.
