| Oh yeah? Well MY daughter is creating her own lassiez-faire capitalist/Randian Lego town. |
|
There are lots of factories there, and none of them are subject to any enviromental regulations, because environmental regulations are just the government's way of punishing success.
There are schools for the Lego children, but they are all run by private for-profit corporations. The Lego children who can't afford the schools are welcome to work 15 hour shifts in the factories for $2.00 a day.
You also have homeless Lego people in this Legotown, but they've all been shipped out of the touristy and well-to-do parts of town to the outskirts, where they are visited by one Lego person every day who admonishes them for not being one of the "achievers".
There is also a hospital in this Legotown, where a Legoman insurance company representative stands guard at the front door and makes sure none of the incoming patients have any sort of pre-existing conditions.
It's all very, very cute....that is, if you are Grover Norquist and this is your kid.

|
And for the roof over her head while she plays?

| 5. Slightly more than the going rate set by the Parental Conglomerate. |
|
I think we can all trust private enterprise oligarchies, can't we?

| 7. Remember though there won't be any non-disclosure laws or non-compete clauses allowed either. |
