1. I speed on the freeway almost all the time.
I'm the asshole flying by you going 20 mph over the speed limit.

4. I jaywalk constantly.
Edited on Mon Aug-17-09 07:52 AM by Chan790
It's Brooklyn, if you waited for the damned walk signs or the signals or crossed at the crosswalks, it'd take twice as long to get around. There is nobody on the road 3/4 the time...visability is usually greater than 4 blocks so it's not like you're going to get hit by a car you didn't see coming...unless it's a stealth car with a cloaking device.

6. I am the odd duck that drives 55
so pretty much yes I obey all the traffic laws. I even come to a full stop at stop signs.
Why? first to save gas money, but I have really gotten to enjoy pissing people off.

29. Yes, I live between two roads that are 45 mph speed limits
I enjoy going just the speed limit and annoying the hell out of people. I do NOT do it at rush hour because people get crazy and take dangerous chances trying to pass illegally since there are few passing zones on either road.

What I do love is when someone passes me and I drive the other five miles into town and catch up to them at the first stop light. They get really pissed when I smile and wave at them.

7. I speed on the highway to keep up with traffic
But only slightly. I usually don't go faster than the "tolerance limits", which would be 64 in a 55 mph zone or 69 in a 65 mph zone. I live in Pennsylvania and know what I can get away with

Where I live, 90% of the drivers are lead-footed. For me to drive the speed limit would mean I'd be the one standing out.

Sometimes I don't always wear my pink motorcycle helmet. Is it illegal in MN to not wear a helmet? I also speed, and switch lanes going thru a light. Whoopsies!

No, it's not illegal in Mn. to not wear a helmet. Just not a very good idea.

11. Everything but the speed limits.
Even then I try to stay within 5-10 mph of the posted limit.

IMO most speed limits are set too low just to keep the ticket revenue flowing.

12. I obey most of them fanatically.
I sometimes speed, but only because everyone else is already going faster. I'm usually trying to maximize fuel efficiency.

16. ...
:spray:

I keep my insurance paid up. In town I mostly obey speed limits and stop signs. Last time I got pulled over for not turning in a mandatory right turn lane, I had the guy laughing because of needing to hit the fender to get one headlight to come back on and the fact that there were strange objects sticking up out of the window well. (it was a broken regulator arm but it looked pretty strange) Also I had no seat belt on and the back right light assembly was held in with duct tape.

He let me go with out even a work order

17. The only traffic law I break is the one
which concerns hitting people with my car. If you are dumb enough to leave the safety of your home while I am driving I can not help you. Don't worry, I eat my road kill.

They always seem to sit in the exact same spots to do radar. Makes it a lot easier to not get caught :D

25. no.
at any given time, I have ignored any or all of them............I turn left on red, all the time, after yielding to oncoming traffic. This is at intersections where I have a clear view of all traffic. I also will run certain redlights, after coming to a full stop. These would be redlights that used to be stop signs and this would be late at night and Way Out in the Country....
