14. thanks for the links
I will proceed to educate myself...honestly, anything Shakespeare is a win for me. as for Hitchcock neither of those films are my favorite, I am kind of "meh" about both of those. I think my favorite Hitchcock is a movie I saw for the first time the other week and now I can not remember the name of it. I am looking at his filmography now to see if I can find it.

This was fun for a Saturday afternoon. The phone rang in the middle of it all and I wasn't sure I had answered them all :D

whew.

15. You got me on #24, but I've never read either or them.
On the others, I honestly don't have enough knowledge to have any preference. I'd have to listen to the works of the composers and do a lot of reading to form an opinion on Partisan Review vs Horizon or the New Yorker under Ross or Shawn.

This was great fun though. Some of the choices were difficult. Cats and dogs, come on? How can one possibly choose? ;)

22. I'm only going to answer the ones I know so this is going to be short
1. Fred Astaire or Gene Kelly? Both
2. Buster Keaton or Charlie Chaplin? Haven't seen enough of Buster Keaton but I like Charlie Chaplin a lot so I'll have to go with him
3. Cats or dogs? Slight preference for dogs
4. Billie Holiday or Ella Fitzgerald? Haven't really heard Ella Fitzgerald but I'll go with Billie Holliday because I like the way she used her music to highlight some of the key issues of her time, such as she did in "Strange Fruit"
5. The Who or the Stones? Neither
6. Hot dogs or hamburgers? Hot dogs
7. Letterman or Leno: Letterman
8. Wilco or Cat Power: Don't know who Wilco is but I like Cat Power
9. Bill Monroe or Johnny Cash?: Don't know Bill Monroe but Johnny Cash would romp home hands down for me in any category
10. Verdi or Wagner? I like all classical music.
11. Red wine or white? Both, with a slight preference for white
12. Sopranos or the Simpsons: The Simpsons, hands down
13. Comedy or tragedy: Tragedy. Especially Shakespearean tragedy

34. Reading a blog or reading a magazine: Either
35. Mac or PC: Either.
