Woo hoo! We're under a tornado warning!

Just heard the sirens go off. The teevee weather people are all excited. That's the first one we've had all year.

1. I heard them too but then they turned the sirens off.

I live in another area but I saw the radar map, with hook echo.

Get to cover. If it wasn't so dark, I'd be out with the camera... (I have nobody to live for...)

2. I think it will miss Minneapolis; looks like it's heading for Maple Grove and Anoka.

Wish I could get some good cloud photos, but it's too dark.

No actual warnings listed (WCCO, weather channel, weatherundergorund) but the severity of the storm is obvious nonetheless...

5. Reloaded - yup, IT IS A WARNING.

Hennepin, Anoka, Ramsey

6. WCCO TV says there's a tornado warning for NE Hennepin and Ramsey Counties.

The path seems to be over the northern suburbs, not the cities. Pretty clear hook echo near Maple Grove. Hope there's no damage or injuries out there.

7. Given how far my county is from that action, why the sirens just went on again...

Nary a cloud either.

9. family member just wrote that the tornado over their house is scary.

I am glad to not live in tornado area any more and wish the best for all there.
