| Obscure Mike Tyson question... For all you boxing fans... |
|
The trouble with this question is that Tyson knocked out a lot of guys in the first round.
Anyways, I remember watching a Mike Tyson boxing match as a kid, maybe pay-per-view, where they showed a training montage of his opponent- sparring, jump roping, jogging outside- and he, or a narrator, described in a voiceover that beating Mike Tyson would be "like climbing a mountain."
The fight begins and ends in the first round with a knockout. I remember one of the commentators saying something like "it looks like (boxer) fell off that mountain."
Which Tyson fight was this? Like I said, Tyson won several fights in the first round, so the list is not narrow.

| 2. I remember a Charley Steiner (ESPN) quote about that fight |
|
"All of Don King's horses and all of Don King's men, couldn't put Mike Tyson back together again."

| 3. mike tyson was like that early in his career. the other guy would make a big show, music, fancy robe |
|
etc., all the usual hoopla.
then tyson would just step into the ring. black trunks, black shoes with no socks.
after tyson landed his first jab, the other guy knew he was in trouble, and was backing up the rest of the fight till he got knocked out.
it was scary. i was sure he'd kill someone before he was done.
