4. I've been told by other folks that there been some pretty nasty folks chiming on the Gates issue
So I decided to have at these people myself

Needless to say, when fucking with the Scorpio, they get the sting

I've been around here for too long NOT to have people realize this.

6. Don't take no shit off nobody
The level of discourse on GD is extremely high and only those who are the most skilled at the fine art of debate survive.

3. It doesn't take much. You could start a thread over there called "I like pudding"...
...and have it devolve into a spittle filled screaming match in a matter of minutes.

PS: I prefer tapioca over chocolate.

Yeah, I said it.

10. A.: Not bothered at all and B.: Glad to see it
However, I taking this moment to remind everyone that the police is not their friend and the best course of action is watch one's ass.

Secondly, that a post racial America is a myth

I do commend Obama on doing his best to to deal with the aforementioned facts

9. about the police, wwyd?
I made a turn and realized I was on the wrong street. A block later, I pulled into a residential area to look for a place to turn aroud. A police officer pulled up behind me and flashed his lights. I rolled down my window as he approached and he asked me for my license and insurance. I reached into the glove box for the insurance card, dug through my purse for my license and asked something like "Is there some reason you stopped me?" He did not answer. He took the items and went back to his car. I waited. And waited. I called my husband on my cell phone (can I get a witness?!!) And.....waited. I finally got out of the car and raised my hands like

How long was I supposed to sit there?

When he finally got out and met me half way, he wrote out a ticket for a bogus charge. I calmly explained why that was impossible but he said I would have to tell it to the judge. His name was illegible on the ticket but I had seen his badge.

I think I know what happened (based on my appearance, the car I was in and the neighborhood) but I could not prove that. I did tell my side to the judge and the judge believed me. I was only out time off of work.

Obviously he did not feel threatened by me. He let me reach into my car and purse and let me approach him in his car. But you have to wonder what the hell was protocol?!
