I got a case of beer for $10, and it doesn't suck!

2. "Bock" is the German word for goat.

So most bock beers have a goat in the logo somewhere.

Don't worry about the logo; there's an Austrian beer called "Rauchbock" which means "Smoked Bock" or "Smoked Goat" if you want to be literal. The label showsa goat with a cigarette in its mouth!

My German skills aren't what they used to be. Anyway, it's quite a nice beer, I just got lucky enough to find a distributor trying to clear his inventory, and I'm more than happy to help him out!

10. I bought it at a distributor in Carbondale.

The pale bock and the festive ale were on sale. I don't know if they were trying to clear out the seasonal beers or if they're not carrying Dundee anymore. That would be a shame, because I think I just became a fan.

11. Yes, life was good that day.

On Sunday afternoon I tied my first deer hair bass bug, and on Sunday evening I caught two beautiful largemouth bass fishing with it. Monday afternoon I found the cheap beer, and Monday evening I made fried fish and hush puppies for myself and my parents, and it was awesome. I really had my mojo workin' for a few days there.

I was surprised to see it in the stores, because I thought Lion's Head was mostly brewing Yuengling Lager now. I guess they're doing both.
