4. Devil's advocate, Aristus:

I would suppose that some women who have had abortions feel hurt by having had them. I probably would. It's not an ideal choice for everyone, even though it may be the only plausible choice.

Edit: I must say, though, that your quote along with the image is very good.

5. I know a woman who had an abortion. She wasn't happy about it. (I can't imagine any woman
would be.) But it was either that, or carry the child of her cheating husband. I can't blame her for her decision. I'm just glad she didn't have a decision forced upon her. The ones I can't stand are the women who get an abortion, regret it, and then blame the legal system that made it possible. It's called 'choice' for a reason: you can choose to, or choose not to.

BTW, I appreciate you playing Devil's Advocate. ;-) I do it all the time. It's a very liberal thing to do... :-)

6. I actually got a LTTE published in the Washinton Post about that
Of course, I don't remember the exact time or exactly what the article was about, but a woman who'd had an abortion referred to it as "when my baby was taken from me" or some such. God, that burned me!

I wrote that by saying this, she was abdicating her responsibility for having made a choice.
