What are we drinking tonight?
And I don't mean in the virtual Lounge bar.

What do you actually plan on drinking (or are already drinking) this evening?

Me? I've got some EKU 28 and Guinness 250 lined up for the evening.

3. Since I heard the following story, I can no longer drink rum.
When I was in the Army, I would frequently do joint exercises with allied forces. During one exercise in Europe, I was in a pub afterward with a British Royal Marine officer.

The RM described to me how he'd got so absolutely plowed on rum one evening during his last posting that he had a nightmare he'd murdered his mother and chopped up her body into little bits and shoved her into a rubbish bin. He felt the urgent need to call home to speak to his mum the next morning, understandably.

Since then, he couldn't drink rum. Since hearing his story, neither can I.

9. Rum and coke for me too!
Only because it's easier to carry a bottle home than an 18-pack of beer!!

14. I'll start with a 24oz can of "Pit Bull" malt liquor
Then I'll have a 24oz can of "Earthquake" malt liquor and a 24oz can of "Keystone Smooth Light".

I collect beer cans. Sometimes, like tonight, it can be a rather punishing hobby.

22. Granrojo Garnacha
Because I'm a Red!

The 2007 Rojo Garnacha has the colour of blackberry with blue tones, almost opaque. Intense and pleasant aromas of licorice and wild red and black berries fill the nose, with mineral undertones. Well-rounded and balanced on the palate, it is elegant and fresh. Red fruit, minerals and a hint of fresh thyme linger on the finish. It’s surprisingly silky and full-bodied, with a rich varietal expression.

It's super-delicious and on sale now at MoCo Liquor stores.
