Name this tune... PLEASE:)
I can't seem to remember the band name or or the exact tune:( It has been driving me insane all day. ITS RIGHT THERE:)

The only thing I recall is a slow, hypnotic kind of bass line along with a bit of acoustic guitar. The video itself has the singer in some sort of observatory while looking through different telescopes.

Help me get some sleep :)

1. Based on the discription I'd say
"Iris" by the Goo Goo Dolls from the City Of Angels soundtrack.
Check http://video.aol.com/video-detail/johnny-rzeznik-goo-goo-dolls-iris/2527875809/?icid=VIDURVMUS01 to see if this is it.

2. I love that song
I had never seen the video before, though. I have that soundtrack, great music.

5. My gf at the time loved the song and video.
I always thought the name Goo Goo Dolls was funny, so that stuck with me. However, I never knew what the name of the song actually was and that took a little while to figure out.

6. It was indeed that song
I had a bit of lag last night and accidentally started two threads. The request was answered in the other one.

Anyway, our bands bassist was noodling on a fretless along with a flanger and volume swells. It sounded pretty cool, but the riff itself was familiar. It was driving me mad to remember where I heard it.

Thanks everyone:)
