I got to go one on with a media 'ho!

This was an exchange of e-mail with Ryan (Seacrest) and Lisa (Fox) from Star 98.7 in LA. Of course it's a Clear Channel station.

They have been foaming at the mouth since Arnold jumped in the race. Last Friday someone called in and basically read them the riot act which of course pissed Ms. Fox off at first but the guy made valid points that they are (prehaps not on purpose) appearing to endorse Arnold. But that of course has fallen on deaf ears, yesterday Arnold called into the show. I didn't hear it, I got home before he came on. But OF COURSE they were all giddy about it!! So with out further of my flapping my yap, here is the e-mail exchange.

Oh come on! Please just come out a endorse the guy already. Since you're have Arnold on the show today I'd like to know when the other major candidates will be on your show.

Oh please! You don't think for one minute that Arnold is not milking ANY media he can get? Get real. The media is falling all over themselves for the guy. Hey, he's not just an actor anymore. He is a political figure and any appearance is basically a campaign appearance for him.

So he called in and it's was "funny", well ain't that sweet? I don't have a problem with Arnold the actor calling into radio shows promoting a movie, but the guy is running for Governor of the state!

You may recall a caller that called you guys last week. I guess his words fell on deaf ears. You need to realize what power the media has. People listen to your show and take what you might say to heart. People are NOT informed when it come to politics, I'm sorry to say. People listen to 10 second sound bites and say .... well that's how I'm gonna vote. Now unless you guys backing him and I think that you are, then you need to fair. I just wish you'd be honest about it. Because so far all I hear from your show is Arnold, Arnold, Arnold! Not to be confused with Marsha, Marsha, Marsha!
