I'm trying to convince my husband that we need a new Prius
I've got a mini-van that is nice, but getting old. The Prius sounds wonderful. I suppose the down side would be that we would lose cargo space to carry stuff. Anyone own one?

5. Take a look at the Honda Insight. We love ours, thousands less than the Pious.

6. What kinds of safety features does it have?
I'm going to need a new car within the next 6-12 months, and right now, really have no idea what kind to look at.

7. A zillion air bags. I have no idea what else. We're getting 44 mpg consistently...
with our mix of town driving and driving home 8 out in the country via/highway.

9. The safety of the vehicle is my #1 thing, even more so than mpg.
Though I have to say, 44 mpg is very good. I sometimes do a lot of driving for my job, plus I go to Oregon to see my family, so good gas mileage is definitely a good thing.

8. My grandmother has one
She loves it. If I remember right when we visited, my husband (280lbs, 6'4'') fit in the front seat passenger seat alright so it does have a little bit of room at least.
