Mrs. Venation is free of the cast! Celebrate with me!

in short: In 2007 she fell off a ladder and broke her wrist. It was never pain-free after that, and a hand specialist told her it didn't heal right. She has been in a cast since surgery on April 20.

Today the cast came off, the five pins came out (painlessly), and she is free! She has to wear a brace for a month. Tomorrow she begins physical therapy.

I hope she heals well. My Mom broke her wrist years and years ago and has had some strength issues ever since.
