Especially if it's the ice cream made at the University of Wisconsin campus. I had to go to my alma mater to pick up a copy of my transcripts and stopped at a little place on my way back that sold the stuff.

We had an abridged dinner last night - big salad, and then homemade strawberry shortcake with berries from our garden, lemon verbena from the garden baked into the dough, and ice cream. Dang, it was good.

5. It was over 100 degrees today here in La Crosse and I just had to have a root beer cooler

from the A&W. I haven't had one for ages and the last time was on a very hot day. That root beer blended with vanilla soft serve really hit the spot on a hot day.
