Everyone really should experience a horror movie with the lights off
Especially ones that take place in the dark, creates a certian kind of um, ambience. I'm watching Quarrantine now, watching it in the dark really draws you in, I love it! LOL Now excuse me while I stay awake the rest of the night. :scared:

2. so do I
Quarrantine has all the usual zombie movie cliches and scare scenes that I've seen a million times and I still love it.

3. I liked Quarantine more than the foreign movie is was based on.
It wasn't awesome, mind you, but it was fun anyways.

I'm a horror movie junkie. :)

5. I liked it
you're right, it's not the best horror movie ever, The Shinning might take that award, but Quarrantine has its moments. The ending is particularly tense, lol.

8. Watch "The haunting" from 1963
and have a good sound system. Almost everything in that movie is emphasized by sound and what is never seen on screen. You imagination really runs away with it and you likely won't sleep after watching it, either

10. I tried watching "I am Legend" in the dark. Nope.
I couldn't do it. Many people hated that movie. It scared the caca out of me.

16. Even better - horror radio plays in the dark
I heard the Canadian 'Pontypool' last night, in complete darkness. It should be available for the next 2 weeks here:

http://www.bbc.co.uk/worldservice/arts/2009/03/000000_world_drama.shtml

It seems they recorded it for radio at the same time as filming it: http://www.ottawaxpress.ca/film/film.aspx?iIDArticle=16923

Since it's radio, there's not even the sense that you're looking at a screen. You just hear it. And since this is set in a radio station, it's 'natural' to hear everything from a radio.
