My latest Ramen recipe
Totally cooked in the microwave.

1) Pour a quarter cup of dried lentils in a microwave safe bowl. Fill bowl with a cup/cup and a half of water. Microwave for 15 minutes.

2) Take bowl out of microwave. Open Ramen and lay on top of lentils. Add another cup of water. Top off with a cup of mixed frozen vegetables (Fiesta blend!). Return to microwave and cook for another 10 minutes.

3) Remove bowl from microwave. Open flavor packet and pour in. Add a tablespoon of margarine or butter. Add a few dashes of Worcestershire sauce and your favorite seasoning. Mix thoroughly.

4) Eat.

3. Edamame (green soy beans) go very well with the Oriental flavor Ramen.
They add a nice crunch and a slight sweetness to cut through the saltiness. I add a half cup of thawed edamame and some diced carrots one minute before end of boil. Very tasty.

4. I love edamame
I have some in the freezer but am saving em for singular snacking.

What I really wish is to get my hands on some fresh snow peas. My grocery store only carries the pre-packaged ones and frankly, they cost too much.
