This week, on Top Gear
Yep, they're rolling out Season 12 again. Episode 1 is tonight:

# Jeremy, Richard and James buy three cheap delivery trucks, despite knowing almost nothing about the world of trucking.

# Jeremy is on the test track with a scary Porsche 911, a tame Lamborghini Gallardo and a surprisingly talented Labrador.

# Television host and legend Michael Parkinson is our Star in a Reasonably Priced Car.

Thursday, they feature Season 9, Episode 6 (a classic)

# Stang land: Richard tries out the Shelby Mustang GT500 against his own classic ‘Stang.

# Where’s the track? Actress Billie Piper (“Doctor Who,” “The Secret Diary of a Call Girl”) is the corner-cutting Star in a Reasonably Priced Car.

# Limo-scene: Clarkson, Hammond and May each build a stretch limo to drive celebrities to the Brit Awards: Jeremy in a Fiat Panda, Hammond in an MGF, and James in an Alfaab.

BUT, in the "even better news" department, Season 13 of Top Gear begins Sunday, June 21st. That means that folks wanting to see it via torrent can do so on Monday the 22nd.

1. Yay! Another Top Gear fan
:toast: :hi:

Looking forward to the new series a lot. :bounce: One good thing about living in Britain is you don't suffer TG withdrawal symptoms - repeats are on cable every day.

2. If not for BBCAmerica, I'd watch very little television.
Tell me something if you will, I LOVE The Graham Norton Show. How popular is the show in the UK? I know Top Gear is as popular as it gets, but I'm curious about Graham's show.

I have a number of the Top Gear seasons downloaded to disc, and I can usually be caught watching something of theirs while I eat dinner.

7. Oh Graham Norton's a big hit here
He started out on Channel 4, before getting to the BBC and a prime slot on BBC1 (which is a sign of a successful show). He now also commentates on the ultra-campy Eurovision Song Contest - and he's funny as hell, though I do miss Terry Wogan.

I have all the specials on DVD - I love those episodes to bits. The US one is hilarious in a 'OMG they're going to get killed!' way.

6. Then you've probably heard about
the first race out of London, the wrecked Evo and the "partnered" rally race in old cars. This is going to be a good season, wrecked economy or not.

11. Indeed I have
I've been keeping an eye on the UK TG site, and the producer's "Transmission" blog (http://transmission.blogs.topgear.com/). Really good teases. Today's sneak preview: a race involving all vehicles found at an airport (besides the planes).
