5. Hey, don't blame me, I'm a markup monkey (XML and XHTML)
with tiny bits of WSH and VBScript thrown in muck up the works. However, I can rock Oracle's Universal Content Management System like Grandmaster Flash (with or without the Furious Five).

6. I haven't met a language I liked, or an OS that I respected
But that does not mean I don't know how to use them.

7. Right on, especially in this environment
I taught myself classic ASP back in 2000 because I had a client (in an MS shop) who needed to connect their web stuff to a SQL database. I learned Oracle's proprietary UCM scripting language the same way-- because I needed to and I had to get the job done.

A true programmer takes what s/he knows and applies it to what the task is. If it comes up short, s/he learns what's necessary to get the job done.

:hi:
