1. The old school, non-computer generated ones are best
My favorite is the Dodgers, with the Angels, Red Sox and let's say Cubbies and Cards.

2. Something tells me every succeeding post will reflect yours
But not necessarily by picking the Angels' logo, understand. :)

While I do love the Dodgers' logo and even the Jankees' (the top hat is just classy, which proves you can't tell anything about a company by its PR), I think the Mets have the best one in baseball, and the best colors.

8. It took me years beyond 1969 to figure out
Edited on Mon Jun-08-09 03:49 PM by Oeditpus Rex
that the three-colored thing in the middle is an 'M,' for "Montreal." I used to think it might be the French spelling of "Expo," if there is such a thing.

I don't mean to diss your ball club at all, but IMO that's one of the worst designs in sports history.

Edit: '69, dammit. Not '68.

Edwin L Bronfman?

19. Charles R. Bronfman was the Expos' owner

You might be thinking of the Edgars, Junior and Senior. Same family, but they apparently had nothing to do with the ball club. And their middle name is Miles.

11. Purple and teal were supposed to be desert colors and
were chosen by the former team owner. When the team was sold the new owners chose new colors.
I like the Sedona red used now much better. You wouldn't believe the up roar when the team changed colors. You'd have thought the world was coming to an end the way some fans reacted. Now most don't even talk about it any more.
