The Phish world is waiting to see how it turns out. If it is good or even decent, then it will change everything about how we watch concerts. According to where I found it and the guy, he has it down...Phish phans are tech savvy bunch so..

The Dead, Phish, String Cheese, any of them.

Seeing Phish was sort of an accident. I was giving someone a ride home from a class at UNH, and was asked if I wanted to go along to the show. I figured that since it was only five bucks, it was as good a way to spend a rainy Friday as any.

13. Substitute the wrod "jamband" for "unique" and then

you might get over your phobia. Each and everyone of them has their own distinct style. Phish is nothing at all like the Grateful Dead. except that there are no boundaries to the music, anything goes and always does.

There are soo many styles of music represented in the "Jamband thing'. galactic is New Orleans funk. Widespread Panic is southern rock. leftover Salmon is poly-ethnic cajun slamgrass, particle is Techno, Yonder Mountain String Band is bluegrass and so on. SPEARHEAD is hip hop.

The dead, Phish, Cheese etc are all of those things rolled into a ball and then formed iot their very own sound. Hell, at The Dead the other day, they did a techno jam that would make Particle proud. You can teach old dogs new tricks. 45 years on, and they are till evolving.

My SO is doing Camden with his sis on the 6th, and then we are meeting at the 'roo on the 11th. The schedule is crazy! Beastie Boys followed by Phish for a 6+ hour Friday evening (Phish is 11pm-2am!)

20. I'll admit that we probably won't make the Springsteen show....

Once we checked out the schedule, Saturday appears to be a mellow day for us, especially after that Beastie Boys/Phish double-header on Friday night.

Plus, we won't see each other again until the August 16th Phish show at Saratoga, so a little alone time might be just what The Boss ordered :evilgrin:
