I had never been there before myself. You have no concept of the magnitude of the scope and power of the Falls until you are standing there hearing the roar of the rushing water and feeling mist on your face.

I definitely thought the Canadian side was much more impressive than the U.S. side.

2. Cool Pix

Did you get a chance to eat at Table on the Rock? I love that place. When i go to the plant north or Toronto, i often fly to Buffalo because airfares are so much cheaper.

On the way back, i usually stop and eat there. At least 3 times i got a table at the windows. Those tables are less than 75 feet from the falls. Awesome view while eating dinner.

Hope you got a chance to do that. It's most cool.

9. No, I didn't get a chance to do that

I'll keep it in mind if I ever go back. We ate at many fabulous places throughout the week, mostly outdoors. I LOVE two- to three-hour lunches and dinners filled with conversation. Now that is fine dining.

5. I went there about 8 or 9 years ago

I was bored out of my skull. After five minutes of starting at the falls you're like, "Okay, now what?"

Of course, I was 15 at the time and not too thrilled about being attached to my parents on another vacation.
