I'm the brunette kid to the President's left, standing next to his preacher when he was in DC (he's the one holding the umbrella). Rev. Trentham was his name. That's my grandmother talking to him. The Rev and his wife lived next door to us and the Carters came to dinner one weekend evening.

20. i worked a housewares tradeshow in chicago

where i had to photograph gordon jump (the big guy from WKRP/the child molester who wanted to play gladiators with arnold on diffrent strokes) as the Maytag man standing with tradeshow attendees for two days.

he was a diabetic, but the ghiradelli girls kept coming by and giving him chocolates.

i spent 16 hours with him.

i think by then he was senile, but he seemed to be having a good time.

the pic is probably somewhere.
