I just dug enough potato’s and a couple of chives for dinner tonight.
This is a photo of some of them just after I dug them up, there were about twice as many as in this photo. They were de.licious.

this is what they look like growing in my garden.

1. Potatoes. The ' is for a possessive or a contraction.
Congrats. There's nothing better than a fresh potato.

4. Except a home grown tomato.
Excitement about a home grown anything is great.
Please knock it off with punctuation thing. Just dig the taters. Pun intended.

2. You've thrown me into a jealous rage.
My condo's meager 2x4x1 dirt patch doesn't exactly allow for vegetable planting. I'm stuck with rummaging through the farmer's market until I live in a house with a yard. Enjoy your potatoes. I'll enjoy my salty, bitter tears.

6. You can grow potatoes in a trash can. Yes, really. Takes no room at all.

You can grow tomatoes upside down without having one of those topsy turvy planters, too. http://www.minifarmhomestead.com/gardening/tomato.htm

You can, if you have sun, grow a LOT in a very small space. Really. Don't let lack of space impede you. Instead, let it INSPIRE you~!!!

11. I only know them as 'red potatoes'

I got them from a country seed and feed store and that's how the were labeled.
