How could you tell if somebody had installed keystroke recording software on a computer?

Reason is, at my workplace we work at different locations, and different computers, on different weekdays. On a certain weekday, whenever I logon to the computer, I can't key until I unplug and replug the keyboard cable, and reboot the computer. The other person who works at this location, BTW, has a lot of technical knowledge.

I'm posting this from another computer than the one I'd usually be on here. :-)

3. If someone is trying to secretly spy on you

they would be idiotic to install software which makes the computer wonky and you suspicious.

4. msconfig

Go to Start -> Run type in msconfig and hit enter
Look at the services and startup tabs to see what is running and what starts at boot.
