especially the video (their collection of video is now available on DVD from Rhino).

8. I love Devo's version.
Not as good at the Stones' (hell, not as good as "Jocko Homo," "Uncontrollable Urge," or "Girl U Want"), but still a damn fine version.

picked Sounds of Silence since that song always affected me more than the others... and it was the first record I ever owned... won it in a race.
