How long is a 'cubit' again?
Edited on Tue Apr-28-09 02:11 AM by Richardo
It's been raining like a bastard for the last 7-8 hours. The landscape timbers are floating and I think they'd make OK hull material. :shrug:

We're pairing up the animals by gender just to be on the safe side. :thumbsup:

* AT 142 AM CDT... NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED CONTINUED STORM DEVELOPMENT ALONG AN OLD BOUNDARY LEFT OVER FROM EVENING STORMS. AT 142 AM THIS BOUNDARY STRETCHED FROM ROUGHLY SOUTHERN WALLER COUNTY INTO NORTHERN HARRIS AND SOUTHERN MONTGOMERY COUNTY. THIS BOUNDARY IS EXPECTED TO VERY SLOWLY MOVE NORTHWARD WITH TIME BUT CONTINUED REDEVELOPMENT AND TRAINING STORMS WILL LIKELY PRODUCE 1 TO 3 INCHES OF WIDESPREAD RAINFALL WITH LOCALIZED 7 INCH AMOUNTS VERY POSSIBLE. MANY LOCATIONS IN THE WARNING AREA HAVE ALREADY RECEIVED 3 TO 7 INCHES OF RAIN SINCE EARLY EVENING AND ADDITIONAL RAIN WILL QUICKLY RUNOFF TO PRODUCE FLOODING.

2. Well, speaking as the One True Mad Pope....
..It looks like a "CUBIT" is currently 18.75 inches.

I'm kinda surprised- last time I measured as CUBIT, it was 18 inches EVEN.

But that was 15 years ago- I think that RedHeaded Sorceress I was with
at the time just may have inspired my middle finger
to "be all it could be", KnowhutImean?

(Now that I think about it, it's been 15 years since I found GLOVES
that fit properly!
)

For the record: I regret NOTHING...

We had that record when I was a kid. I loved that bit, which is what my post title was based on - you got it, Ptah.
