Among the Departed: Walt Disney, Salvador Dali, Frederic Remington, Ansel Adams, and Irving Thalberg

Among the Living: Andy Thomas, George Lucas, Steven Spielberg, and Joni Mitchell -- who technically has goe on to become an artist, even though I'd want to discuss music.
