I saw the movie "Remember the Titans" this weekend
I was unaware of this true story about T.C. Williams high school in Alexandra, Virginia. A newly integrated high school in 1971 that was given a black head football coach and a white defensive coordinator.

Quite a bit of virulent racism in Virginia in the early 1970's. Hard to imagine that this was the bluest state in the South last November--and for a black candidate.

2. That is a great movie to me.
It was sad though. The racial divide...

Then the one white dude who was one of the most racist seems to overcome it only to die.

3. I love that movie.
Watching how these kids, and many of the townfolk, confront racism (to an extent, anyway), and learn to get along, learn to be friends, was great.
