Wow, that's a diverse list.. what is Libya like outside of the perception the media puts on it?

I'd like to visit Italy, Brazil, Mexico, China, Egypt, England, France, Germany, and Russia.

17. Libya is a very poor country...
With a lot of splendid Roman and Greek ruins. It's a beautiful place to visit.

We went in a group, and we had a police escort the whole time! I heard that the country had three tourist buses, and we used all of them...

It was quite a sight: three big yellow buses, with a cop on a motorcycle leading the way...

We got a lot of stares, but had no trouble.

I'd go again in a heartbeat!

:hi: back atcha, sweetie!

I'd like to change that, but I didn't have that "Let's Go To Europe!" dealy after college. I had to, you know, start PAYING for college.

Maybe when I retire in 40 years :D

:P

Japan was very interesting (I was there in '88 when its economy was booming). I took a picture of a single melon that cost about the equivalent of $40 at the time.

Tokyo was amazingly clean (at least the parts I saw) and the women who were paid to do nothing but bow to people entering various establishments stick in my mind, as well.

The US, Canada, Mexico, Germany, and Austria.

I went one time through the province of Ontario with my dad when I was 7 years old on the way from my home in upstate New York to Detroit where his parents, my grandparents, lived. Another time I visited Windsor during one of my visits to Detroit when I was a teenager.

I have been living in San Diego for many years and have been in Mexico a number of times. The most recent of these were going to Puerto Nuevo, about 30 miles south of the border, for Lobster Run dinner with the San Diego Tall Club.

I took a trip to Europe with a tour group in June of 1997 and we visited Germany and Austria.

I was 15 when I was in most of those countires and I didn't appreciate it as much as I should have. I'd love to be able to make that trip all over again @ 31.
