Reflecting on how things used to be in Hollywood, I would love to know if there is still pervasive sexual exploitation of female actors (or males for that matter) who wish to practice their craft but run into "difficulties" (to use a crude euphemism).

Admittedly, it's been nine years since I have been there, but it was not a fun place, oftentimes, and reflecting upon Farrah Fawcett's career, I am hoping things have changed dramatically and that if you are a female actor who presents for an audition, you are judged on your own merits, the merits of your talent.

I watched my sister go through the meat grinder, and I was appalled, but I'm just hoping things have changed.

I also know that when you hope your career might take a turn for the better, you overlook a lot of things. It's hard to make peace with those incidents, sometimes. Because you can't talk about them with anyone.

Edit: to include males as well as females
