Tabloids and gossip rags make me sick

In just the past week I've seen three examples repugnant tabloid crap.

1. The Octomom brings two babies home to a media circus. The fact that paparazzi are stalking this woman is nauseating. Regardless of how crazy we all think this woman is, she has young children in her care and the paps need to back off. Plus I'm really tired of seeing her.


2. Some online gossip news site declares Natasha Richardson dead before she's actually died. Also at the hospital, the paparazzi are hanging out like vultures going in to a feeding frenzy while this woman's visibly upset family and friends are trying to visit their loved one who has just suffered a catastrophic brain injury.

3. British tabloid publishes a tribute "In Loving Memory" issue to UK reality tv star Jade Goody who is dying of cancer. Gives her years of birth and death (1981-2009) talks about her "final words" has tributes from other celebs all in the past tense.. Thing is, while she's reportedly close to the end, she is STILL ALIVE. Again, media are camped outside this poor woman's house, harassing her friends and loved ones. This is the same tabloid who gave her bunch of money for exclusive pictures and stories of her cancer battle and recent wedding (the money is to go to her two young children) Grant she's agreed to exploit herself somewhat but a "tribute" issue before she has even died is beyond tacky. I hope her family can get some money out of them by suing their asses off.

Anyway I find it sickening and can't stand the whole culture of celebrity obsession. The tabloid media are vultures and whores who care only about money and nothing safety or human dignity.
